How did you manage to bring more customers to the company over the years?

Marius Dosinescu: To tell you the truth, recommendations have always been the top marketing tool. A good, solid, consistent and successful project can bring you 2 to 3 clients, so the marketing strategy in its classic term was basically in-existent for a while.

How was the competition in those days?

Marius Dosinescu: There were a few agencies struggling to survive, a handful of freelancers and a total market mess. The "Internetics" festival has managed to clean up the mess a little bit.

How did the Phare co-financing improve your business?

Marius Dosinescu: When we first decided to get the financing, we were sure we had 0 chance of actually turning this into reality. But it turned out to be a good decision. From the business point of view it has brought the company a professional and technical advantage and a plus in the image of the agency, because this was the first year we invested in marketing and communication.

Was this the best year of the business?

Marius Dosinescu: Well, 2007-2008 all together were good for the business because the economy was blooming. 2003 was the start of a good period for Avantaj NET Interactive, I can tell you that much, the Phare project and financing have been a blessing on a long term, but the seeds of the investments made in 2003 started showing in the beginning of 2007.
